ALYATEC is launching the clinical study DIA-001 on February 9, 2026. The objective of this study is to collect tears from patients allergic to cats during an allergen conjunctival provocation test. This procedure will make it possible to detect the presence of biomarkers specific to cat allergy in tear fluid using the TeaRx™ Red Eye immunological detection kit, developed by DiagnosTear.

This study will be conducted exclusively at the ALYATEC clinical research center in Strasbourg and will involve 2 to 3 visits, lasting from 15 minutes to 2 hours each. To compensate participants for the time and constraints associated with the study, financial compensation ranging from €80 to €120 will be offered, depending on the number of visits completed.

No medication or investigational product will be administered during this study. The results will help determine whether the TeaRx™ Red Eye rapid and non-invasive detection kit can be used as a complementary diagnostic tool for allergic conjunctivitis in routine clinical practice.

If you are interested in taking part in the DIA-001 study or would like additional information, please contact us.
